We sell our produce at the Danville Farmer’s Market and Chatham’s Competition Market in-season and year-round through deliveries. We deliver weekly into Danville and Chatham. Every Thursday, we send out our newsletter which has a list of the items available that week, enabling customers to order exactly what they want and in exactly the quantities they prefer. Just send us an email and we’ll add you to our email.
We raise our delicious, nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables using natural and traditional practices. We do not use any pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, or any harmful chemicals of any type. We do not use plastic mulch and we try to farm sustainably, in a way designed to preserve the health of the soil for future generations.
Thanks to our unheated greenhouse (also known as a hoop house) we have essentially four growing seasons—spring, summer, fall, and winter.
This year we expect to have the following fruits and vegetables in season:
asparagus, potatoes, kale (4 varieties), collard greens, okra, rainbow chard, cantaloupes, turnips, bok choy, cabbage, arugula, broccoli, mizuna, Chinese cabbage, English peas, purple hull peas, tomatoes (several varieties), bell peppers, eggplant (2 varieties), sweet potatoes, baby lettuce mixes, green beans, October beans, onions, spinach, senposai, radishes, beets, summer and winter squash (several varieties), zucchini, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, watermelon, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, garlic, and onions.
